I AM NOT AN OSTRICH

It is not unusual for plants to take a little longer than you think, or have read somewhere, to begin flower initiation after altering the light/dark cycle to 12 hours lights on and 12 hours lights off. In some examples that I am aware of, this has taken as long as 2-3 weeks, especially with plants that have a high Sativa genetic component. Remember, plants are unique, individual, living organic beings and not preprogrammed robots or machines that follow instructions. Give it a bit more time and patience and I am sure all will be well. Further to my research, I believe that when growing artificially indoors with electric light bulbs, Cannabis responds more favourably to high pressure sodium (HPS) bulbs for the flowering phase of its' life cycle. Hope this helps.
