Question:
Hello I purchased a few strains recently, I have a question about the photo period and the flowering time ,I have Baby boom auto in bud stage at 9weeks buds are small at this time, flowering time 55-60 days photo 18-20 hrs ,should the plant be finished at the 60 day point or in flowering stage and needing a few weeks to finish and will a shortened photo period like 12 and 12 lengthen this flowering time any help would be appreciated Regards J.C.K.
Answer:

Hi,
Thank you for your query!

We need to know the size of the pot and the fertilizer you are using as well as the periodic table. The periodic table must be the appropriate for the auto. Normally, it takes 1 week for the plant to show signs of flower and no more.

We hope this helps.

Yes a 12 / 12 photo period would lengthen the time for the flowers to mature and also reduce their size. 55-60 days is just a guide as there are many variables that can determine the actual length of time until maturity, such as temperature, growing methods, nutrition etc. It is just a bit like how people hit puberty at different ages. Continue with your 18-20 hours of light and current care routine and your plant will grow and mature soon enough. Remember, your plants are living organic beings and not pre-programmed robots. Give it a coulpe of weeks more and I am sure all will be well. Hope this helps.
